Chapter 41: I Refused to Stop Upgrading This Splinterlands Card… And the Results Keep Getting More Exciting!
Forty-one upgrades.
One single card.
One long-term challenge that continues to prove how powerful consistency can be.
In Splinterlands, it's easy to get distracted by new releases, changing metas, and endless opportunities to expand your collection. Most players spread their resources across multiple monsters, hoping to improve their decks as quickly as possible.
I decided to follow a different path.
Instead of upgrading dozens of cards, I've stayed committed to investing in the same monster, one upgrade at a time. Every new copy brings it one step closer to its full potential, and every chapter documents another milestone in that journey.
Today, I'm excited to share Chapter 41 of this ongoing adventure.
One Upgrade at a Time
When I published the first post in this series, I simply wanted to keep a record of my progress.
I never imagined it would become one of my favorite long-term projects on Hive.
Now, after forty-one consecutive upgrade posts, I can clearly see how much this card has evolved. Every level gained is the result of patience, planning, and the willingness to trust a strategy that rewards consistency instead of instant gratification.
There's something incredibly satisfying about watching a single monster grow stronger little by little. Every BCX combined feels meaningful because I know exactly how much work has gone into reaching this point.
Why I Keep Investing in One Card
Some players prefer building a wide collection, unlocking as many different monsters as possible.
It's a smart strategy.
But I enjoy taking the opposite approach.
By concentrating my resources on one card, I can maximize its potential while creating a complete story around its evolution. Each chapter represents another step forward, making this series more than just an upgrade log—it's a record of long-term commitment.
Every new level brings noticeable benefits:
⚔️ Better stats that improve its performance in battle.
⚔️ More versatility across different rulesets.
⚔️ A stronger overall collection.
⚔️ Greater long-term value for my account.
⚔️ One step closer to unlocking its maximum potential.
Small improvements may not seem impressive on their own, but when they are repeated consistently, they turn into major achievements.
The Journey Is Far From Over
Looking back at the previous chapters reminds me how far this project has come.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a series that motivates me to keep upgrading, learning, and sharing every milestone with the Hive community.
I'm grateful to everyone who has followed this journey, left encouraging comments, and supported these posts over the past forty-one chapters. Your feedback keeps me motivated to continue pushing this card toward its highest level.
This isn't the finish line.
There are still more copies to collect, more upgrades waiting ahead, and even bigger milestones to celebrate.
Chapter 41 is now complete, but the adventure continues.
The road to a max-level Splinterlands card is still unfolding, and I'll be back soon to share the next step of the journey.
See you in Chapter 42!
