Esta es una tarea de psicología que me asignaron en el liceo, ni siquiera la recordaba pero mientras limpiaba y organizaba los materiales reciclables, la encontré... Dejé a un lado lo que estaba haciendo y en seguida la empecé a leer, me daba mucha curiosidad ver lo que había escrito en aquel entonces.
Hi, I wish you a beautiful day. Today I want to share with you my life plan from 6 years ago. This is a psychology assignment I was given in high school, I didn't even remember it but while I was cleaning and organizing recyclables, I found it... I put aside what I was doing and immediately started reading it, I was very curious to see what I had written back then.
Mientras lo leía, pensé que sería genial compartirlo con ustedes y crear contenido relacionado con los proyectos de vida, las metas y los sueños. Me pareció la oportunidad perfecta porque está vieja tarea, me daría la oportunidad de hacer una comparación, ver claramente cuánto han cambiando mis propósitos desde entonces. Lo cual me resulta bastante interesante y curioso, siento que hallé evidencia de lo mucho que he aprendido y crecido como ser humano.
As I was reading it, I thought it would be great to share it with you and create content related to life projects, goals and dreams. It seemed like the perfect opportunity because this old assignment would give me the opportunity to make a comparison, to see clearly how much my resolutions have changed since then. Which I find quite interesting and curious, I feel I found evidence of how much I have learned and grown as a human being.
Mi intención era hacer un solo post sobre esta tarea pero noté que era demasiada información, por lo que la subiré en partes para no saturarlos. También tengo pensado hacer la versión actualizada de mi "Plan de vida" porque en 6 años, han cambiado muchísimas cosas. Además siento que es algo que, me va a ayudar a seguir aprendiendo sobre mí misma y básicamente, esa es la idea detrás de todo esto.
My intention was to make a single post about this task but I noticed that it was too much information, so I will upload it in parts so as not to saturate you. I also plan to do the updated version of my "Life Plan" because in 6 years, so many things have changed. Besides, I feel it's something that will help me to keep learning about myself and basically, that's the idea behind all of this.
Yo espero que sea de su agrado, para mí está siendo muy significativo y chévere. Entre otras cosas, quiero mencionar la app que usé para evitar transcribir la tarea porque solo la tenía en físico y por obvias razones, necesitaba digitalizarla para corregirla un poco y así poder empezar a compartirla con ustedes. La app se llama Text Scanner me sirvió y ahorró muchísimo tiempo, bastó con tomar fotos de las páginas y dejar que la app hiciera su magia, se las recomiendo. También quería mencionarles que, mejoré la calidad de mis fotos de aquellos días en Epik y realicé las imágenes del post de hoy en Canva.
I hope you like it, for me it is being very meaningful and cool. Among other things, I want to mention the app I used to avoid transcribing the assignment because I only had it in physical form and for obvious reasons, I needed to digitize it to correct it a bit and then I could start sharing it with you. The app is called Text Scanner, it helped me and saved me a lot of time, it was enough to take pictures of the pages and let the app do its magic, I recommend it. I also wanted to mention that I improved the quality of my photos from those days in Epik and I made the images of today's post in Canva.

¿Crees que existen profesiones u oficios específicos para hombres y mujeres?
No creo que existan profesiones específicas para un género, pero creo que hay oficios en los cuales se desenvuelven mejor los hombres, como también hay otros que las mujeres desarrollan de mejor manera. Pero igual creo que ambos pueden hacer cualquier profesión u oficio.
Do you think there are specific professions or trades for men and women?
I don't think there are specific professions for one gender, but I think there are professions in which men perform better, as well as there are others that women develop in a better way. But I still believe that both can do any profession or trade.
De las profesiones de tu familia ¿Cuáles te gustan más y por qué?
Sinceramente entre las profesiones de mi familia no me gusta ninguna, algunas porque no me considero buena para ese tipo de cosas y las otras simplemente no me agradan o no llaman mi atención. Pero si tuviera que elegir una, sería la repostería pues me gustan ese tipo de cosas.
Which of your family's professions do you like the most and why?
Honestly, I don't like any of my family's professions, some of them because I don't consider myself good for that kind of thing and the others I just don't like them or they don't call my attention. But if I had to choose one, it would be confectioner because I like that kind of thing.
De acuerdo a tus habilidades y destrezas ¿Qué profesión u oficio crees que sería acorde para ti?
Personalmente me gustaría mucho ser psicóloga. Tal vez idiomas, veterinaria o bióloga marina.
According to your skills and abilities, what profession or trade do you think would be suitable for you?
Personally, I would really like to be a psychologist. Maybe languages, veterinary or marine biologist.

Mis posibilidades económicas son estables y si me parecen lo suficientemente buenas para lograr cumplir la mayoría de mis metas así que en general, la respuesta sería que sí.
Your economic possibilities, if you have sufficient financial means to achieve your goals?
My economic possibilities are stable and I think they are good enough to achieve most of my goals, so in general, the answer would be yes.
¿Quiénes han sido las personas que han tenido mayor influencia en tu vida y de qué manera?
Las personas que considero que han tenido mayor influencia en mí, serían mi mamá Elida y mi hermano Antonio. La manera en la que influyeron en mí, me parece que es en algunos aspectos de mi personalidad y también en mi carácter.
Who have been the people who have had the greatest influence on your life and in what way?
The people who I consider to have had the greatest influence on me would be my mother Elida and my brother Antonio. The way in which they have influenced me, it seems to me, is in some aspects of my personality and also in my character.
¿Cuáles han sido mis intereses desde temprana edad?
Mi mayor interés desde temprana edad, creo que sería ser la persona más auténtica que pueda ser, dar lo mejor de mí en todas las cosas que me interesan. Desde pequeña siempre he deseé ser psicóloga y aún espero lograrlo.
What have been my interests from an early age?
My greatest interest from an early age, I think, would be to be the most authentic person I can be, to give the best of myself in all the things that interest me. Since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a psychologist and I still hope to achieve it.
¿Cuáles han sido los acontecimientos que han influido de forma decisiva en lo que soy ahora?
El que me ocurriera en varias ocasiones, que al ir a un lugar alguien justo tuviera la misma ropa que yo. Esto me enseñó que lo importante no es lo que llevas puesto, sino la forma en la que lo luces y haces de cada cosa algo único y especial. Eso también hizo que me diera cuenta o de que me viera en la necesidad, de sacar a relucir mi autenticidad. Creo que esos simples encuentros me hicieron cambiar mucho y aunque no sé si lo parezca, soy una persona que se caracteriza por tener gustos y hacer las cosas completamente diferente a los demás.
What have been the events that have had a decisive influence on who I am today?
It happened to me on several occasions that when I went to a place someone just happened to have the same clothes as me. This taught me that what is important is not what you wear, but the way you wear it and make everything unique and special. It also made me realize, or felt the need, to bring out my authenticity. I think those simple encounters made me change a lot and although I don't know if it seems like it, I am a person who is characterized by having tastes and doing things completely different from others.
¿Cuáles han sido en mi vida los principales éxitos y fracasos?
Los éxitos creo que probablemente serían el ser alguien diferente y auténtica, que no se deja llevar o no hace tanto caso a las cosas que la gente popularmente hace (por así decirlo) cosas que desde mi punto de vista, son innecesarias e inadecuadas.
Últimamente mis fracasos están relacionados con mi rendimiento, por lo cual estoy tratando de mejorar todo lo que puedo, en ese aspecto. Como soy alguien muy distraída o con la mente en otro lugar, me es difícil concentrarme.
What have been the main successes and failures in my life?
The successes I think would probably be to be someone different and authentic, who does not get carried away or does not pay so much attention to the things that people popularly do (so to speak) things that from my point of view, are unnecessary and inappropriate.
Lately my failures are related to my performance, so I am trying to improve as much as I can, in that aspect. As I am someone very distracted or with my mind elsewhere, it is difficult for me to concentrate.
¿Cuáles han sido tus decisiones más significativas?
Posiblemente el ser diferente para poder ser especial o así yo lo veo, también ser fiel a quien soy. Tal vez no lo parezca pero es un tanto difícil, más cuando todas las demás personas, son completamente diferentes a mí en cuanto a gustos, claro esto no es en todas partes, solo en algunas. Pero independientemente de lo incómodo que llega a ser esto, no me arrepiento en lo absoluto, pues no cambiaría mis gustos solo por la opinión otra persona, pues no vale la pena y además a mí me agrada la persona que soy y eso es más que suficiente.
What have been your most significant decisions?
Possibly to be different in order to be special or so I see it, also to be true to who I am. It may not seem like it but it's a bit difficult, especially when all the other people are completely different from me in terms of tastes, of course this is not everywhere, only in some. But regardless of how uncomfortable this can be, I do not regret it at all, because I would not change my tastes just because of someone else's opinion, it is not worth it and besides I like the person I am and that is more than enough.
