Today I dare to upload a different content than usual to share with you my experience of stay in other places, from which I gained knowledge of cultural spaces, customs, nature, countryside and much more ... ¡Hola queridos amigos y amigas de Hive! Hoy me tomo el atrevimiento de subir un contenido distinto al habitual para compartirles mi experiencia de estancia en otros lares, de los cuales obtuve conocimiento de espacios culturales, costumbres, naturaleza, campo y mucho más... Espero que sea de su agrado y de aporte para la comunidad.
This trip was accompanied by my paternal grandmother, who had to run important errands in her native country, but as she is an old lady who cannot go out alone, or carry suitcases, or solve everything by herself, I took the initiative to go with her.
Este viaje lo hice acompañado de mi abuela paterna, quien tenía que hacer diligencias importantes en su país natal, pero como ya es una señora mayor que no puede salir sola, ni cargar maletas, ni resolver todo por si sola, tomé la iniciativa de ir con ella.
We left from La Victoria, a city in the state of Aragua, Venezuela, where I have been living for years.
Our relatives said goodbye to us at the terminal, all a little sad and nostalgic, but I promised them that we would return soon.
Partimos desde la Victoria, ciudad del estado Aragua en el cual vivo desde hace años, Venezuela.
Nuestros familiares nos despidieron en el terminal, todos algo tristes y nostálgicos, pero les hice la promesa que volveríamos pronto.
I traveled through several states I had never seen before, among them Lake Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela.
Recorrí varios Estados en los cuales nunca había visto, entre ellos el lago de Maracaibo, Estado Zulia, Venezuela.
Among all the hustle and bustle at checkpoints and alcabalas, we managed to cross the border, our first stop was in Sincelejo, Sucre, Colombia, where we stayed for 2 weeks. There was an uncle of mine and his family, in a very cozy house with a gym upstairs.
Entre tanto ajetreo en puntos de control y alcabalas, logramos cruzar la frontera, nuestro primer paradero fue en Sincelejo, Sucre, Colombia, en donde estuvimos por 2 semanas. Allí se encontraba un tío mío y su familia, en una casa bastante acogedora y con un gimnasio en la parte de arriba.
As a gesture of hospitality, a few days later a cousin invited me to a milkshake in the evening, this milkshake is known as "Michelada ginger" in a very nice local place.
Como gesto de hospitalidad, a los pocos días una prima me invitó a un batido en la noche, éste batido es conocido como "Michelada ginger" en un sitio muy bonito de la localidad.
The last weekend that we were with my uncle and his family we visited a farm of his property, where lives a fauna of cattle, horses and birds such as chickens, turkeys and ducks.
The farm has a large space with small wells, and a nice landscape, I helped my uncle with some cleaning work on the land and feeding the animals.
El último fin de semana que estuvimos con mi tío y su familia visitamos una finca de su propiedad, en donde vive una fauna de ganado vacuno, caballos y aves como gallinas, pavos y patos.
La finca cuenta con un amplio espacio con pequeños pozos, y un lindo paisaje, ayudé a mi tío con algunas labores de limpieza en el terreno y en la alimentación de los animales.
Thus, we finished our tour of Sincelejo and left for Córdoba, Planeta Rica.
De esta manera, culminamos nuestro tour por Sincelejo y partimos hacia Córdoba, Planeta Rica.
In this small town my grandmother, who accompanies me, was born and raised. It is full of humble, rural and hard-working people, most of them earn their living honestly.
En este pequeño pueblo nació y fue criada mi abuela que me acompaña, está lleno de gente humilde, de campo y trabajadora, la mayoría se gana la vida honradamente.
Despite being a village, the streets are quite modern and the structures are very well preserved. As for religious beliefs, most people worship in Catholic churches.
A pesar de ser un pueblo, las calles son bastante modernas y las estructuras muy bien conservadas. En cuanto a creencias religiosas, las personas en su mayoría le rinden culto a las iglesias católicas.
Besides being a quite beautiful region, for my pleasure and my daily activities there was a Calisthenics park 10 minutes away from where we were staying, a place where I went every afternoon to exercise. The place was surrounded by good people who included me in their circle and had a beautiful landscape of green areas.
Además de ser una región bastante bonita, para mí agrado y mis actividades diarias había un parque de Calistenia a 10 minutos de donde nos encontrábamos hospedados, sitio a cual me acercaba todas las tardes para hacer ejercicio. El lugar estaba rodeado de buenas personas que me incluyeron en su círculo y contaba con un bonito paisaje de áreas verdes.
The days passed normally, I helped my grandmother with her errands in the span of 3 weeks and finally we prepared to return to Venezuela.
Transcurrieron los días de forma normal, ayudé a mi abuela en la gestión de sus diligencias en el lapso de 3 semanas y finalmente nos preparamos para regresar a Venezuela.
Undoubtedly, it was a unique and unforgettable experience, I made friends, met family and I will keep the memory of my trip through this post. Thank you for reading me and reaching this far, blessings to the Hive community.
