Some people as children know what they want to do. They gain support and are relentless in getting to where they want to be. For others it may take some more time to figure out what they really like. One may be a high school football star, really fast and witty on the field but once he hits college his physique, being a much smaller guy cannot keep up with the 200+ weight class. This person may still want to be a physical athlete and has the power and skill to be but in a different sport. His physique is more suited for getting through obstacles and using his strength to climb walls or monkey bars, something a 250 lb linebacker would not be able to do so easily. There his ambition of going pro in football has now turned to being the next American Ninja Warrior.

Same can be said with many other ambitions people have. If someone is driven, capable and has support, anything can be achieved. But, when life gets in the way and throws obstacles at them they must find a way to adapt. This may mean changing their ambitions. Maybe a missed opportunity or a gained one. When you look back and think how your life came to be where it is now, It is all a series of semi-random events and instances that brought you here. Once upon a time you may have wanted to be an astronaut but maybe now you want to be the best Pizza joint in town or create the next new advancement in tech.

Things will always change.
