Hello and welcome to a different kind of post this time. I said a while back that I would be posting more photos too when I get back and I still haven't gotten to doing that so I decided now would be a good time. A while back I went to a place in northeastern Thailand and I stayed in a small house near the border to Cambodia. The reason I was there was to go see the sunrise which is supposed to be really amazing on this mountain. It was a really cool place and I wanted to share some photos with you here. Let's get to them!
I will post the photos in chronological order so you can see the sunrise's progress. So this is when we first arrived at the viewpoint. Around 6 AM.
Pha Mo I Daeng is the name of the place I visited and it's in the Sisaket province. It took a while to drive up there since we had to leave really early to make it in time for the sunrise. It gets really misty up there in the mornings so we had to drive really slowly. When we finally made it up there, the first thing I noticed was how many people had come up there to see it. It actually seemed really popular and even some monkeys had come out to chill out and watch.
The photos aren't the best as I am still using my phone camera sadly but the view is still pretty amazing in my opinion.
I love how it slowly covers the valley and the hills too. I really wish I had a better camera so I could have taken some better shots of this lol. As I said earlier, people weren't the only ones enjoying the views.
This little family had come out to watch the sunrise. There were a lot of them and it seemed like they really enjoyed just taking it easy here in the mornings. It was a really cool place and I am happy we decided to wake up early to go there. I really recommend going if you are ever in Sisaket. It's fairly easy to get to and some camping places rent out small houses as well nearby. There is a small fee that you pay on the way up which is more expensive for tourists but it's totally worth it. You can also grab something small to eat and a coffee right at the viewpoint which was cool and convenient.
That's pretty much it for this post. I wanted to take loads of photos but pretty quickly realized that my camera isn't good enough for these kinds of shots so I just picked the best ones I had to share here.
