Thanks, welcome to hive!

Hi, I personally feel that there is massive scope for teamwork and working together in a system like Hive - which we are not typically seeing here from a lot of quarters. I think there are a few reasons

You are welcome! Yes, just enabling people to create their own communities in more exciting forms will help to solve the issue of where new users will go when they on-board to Hive. Some may immediately

Hi, ok, thanks - I was totally unaware of that. I will check it out.

That's great to know, thanks! I think we are going to begin by using our own test communities that can be used and abused without interfering with anything or requiring outside collaboration. Ideally,

STOP

No problem, it is a great question. As far as we understand, the plan has been to introduce L2 token and reward pool features to breakaway communities all along, yes.

Yes, it has since been proven that hair is a hindrance when it comes to L2 community development 8) You are welcome!

Hi, as mentioned, Hive Engine has had some of these featues for a long time. However, they charge very high fees to create such websites and then also fees for maintenance and new features. This puts them

I see, ok, thanks for sharing that. I have previously worked on a system that combined Hive with Twitch and it seems like the simulcasting policy might have killed that! I can see why that would be a problem

Thanks for your comment and belated welcome to Hive! The process of transitioning anyone to Hive, whether it be a creator or an audience member, can be hugely improved and streamlined. This is slowly taking

Having tried numerous ways to bring 'consumers' to Hive/Steem from web 2 platforms, it is clear to me that a combination of factors make that way harder than it needs to be. One of them is the unnecessarily

It's clear that there has always been a total lack of guidance, support, direction and tools on Steem/Hive that empower established creators to onboard other people and also to be motivated to do so.

Hey @stoodkev, what are your thoughts about the open source, community run onboarding tools mentioned here? Is that something you would consider building in to keychain?

it would cost a minimum of $10hbd to do that, but you are right that there are some potential issues. that being said, there are only a very small number of proposals being created - so it isn't difficult

Every post on Hive is an advert in some senses - an advert for your thoughts and ideas. It costs a minimum of $10 to make a proposal and I imagine that accounts will be hit hard by downvotes if they try

People pay for proposals, so it is not unreasonable that Hive notifies people that the proposal exists. I recommend creating your own proposal to find out how poor the current system is. Would you trust

A vote is currently underway to consider adding enforced notifications into Hive to ensure that all users are informed of DHF proposals. This would address the issue faced by all DHF proposers, which is

Hi, thanks for your comment. Can you clarify why you think it is wrong for us to use the only avenue available in order to better understand whether or not we need to keep our working schedule clear for

Sure thing!
