An Original Poem inspired by my childhood influence of Shel Silverstein.
Brain Soup
My brain is turning to mush,
As each day I rush,
From one thing to the next,
Not looking will cause a wreck.
The crash is loud, but quick,
All this moving makes me sick,
And so another scroll and click.
Screen One, Screen Two,
Pill Red, Pill Blue.
What’s a man to do?
The time is long,
The time is short.
My brain is a mess,
Buy this now for less!
Dollars signs in my eyes,
Believe all the lies,
Don’t hypothesize.
We can throw it all away
And find another game to play.
But are we going to, whadda you say?
