I’m glad that George’s song was pulled, regardless of the fact it used Ai - in fact I’m glad he used it so Bandcamp had an excuse pull it.
Or was it the other way round? That in order to promote AI slop he got under the Israel Umbrella, where you are protected from criticism of any kind, as it can be declared antisemitic?
To be honest, I didn't even know Boy George was still around, or that he has brought out anything since Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? I know, that's also a statement about my own ignorance. But I remember writing not long ago about groups like The Eagles, who instead of focusing on their art, have lawyered up to defend their hits from long ago. I can also imagine that this controversy is giving Boy George much needed publicity. Maybe he can use the momentum for his next hit single, titled something like Now You Really Want To Hurt Me!
