Hello praditya@praditya, what an eye-opening post! I became teary-eyed after reading about your conversation with that plant-based doctor. As much as Architects like us strive to create a better world for humanity to flourish, there are still some misconceptions about the profession. We don't want to be a disappointment, right?

Having said that. we need to spread more awareness about Biophilic Design and other nature-themed disciplines to help save our planet. The idea of Xeriscaping (like the cultivation of succulents, indoors and outdoors) is also an excellent method of greening our environment without wasting so much water with irrigation. With the incorporation of other innovative solutions of lessening the harsh effects brought about by existing urban zones (aka concrete jungles), designing natural elements within our cities and making them more accessible for people's well-being has never been better. Many thanks for your great initiative! 😊
