From my personal experience, by far, Hive lacks sincere interaction and conversation. I havev seen tons of people (content creators), getting huge sum of votes, and zero comments on regular basis. Let's just forget about the big votes, there is also this contest culture on Hive. And, it is quite helpfulfor new/short users. But, the problem is same, there is no genuine interaction at all. No matter, how good the post is, there is no meaningful dialogue attached. Or maybe, the post carries no meaning at all.
In this regard, I loved it when top comment started providing its services. Perhaps, this way people will start to show real concerns. But, my question is: why do we need some capital attachment to be meaningful?
Personally, I find Reddit the best platform to really construct and deconstruct one's ideas. Hive also needs some modification in this regards. Otherwise, let us have transactional values.
Oh, I forgot about the good part. I occasionally comment on people's post, and then, I eagerly wait for their replies. Because, I, on some occassions, have disagreed with them, respectfully. However, there is no response at all :)
I do not want to sound cheesy, but I think you have been playing a significant role in changing this culture. You take the time to read, engage meaningfully and reply. A year back, I wrote a post about how special occasions do not feel special anymore, and you gave such a unique suggestion (I wanted to write advic/se but I forgot which one is the right one) that I still use it with others. T them, it is my personal line. Hehehe :)
