It is with great pleasure that I announce the addition of Steem to Slack Shared Network (SSN). For those of you unaware of what SSN is, its a cross-team slack integration I've put together for various crypto-related teams. From altcoins, to exchanges, and forums, its a single channel within each team that connects to the others with the intent of cross-team collaboration, idea-bouncing, community-building awesomeness!
I've been in crypto for a few years now and since day 1 I've seen too much hatred and argument between different teams and altcoins. If we ever want crypto to be anything more than a trend of a fad and start making a presence in mainstream financials, business, and development, we rely not only on the technology that powers it, but the community as well. With effort put into true teamwork and encouragement of other team's projects we, as THE crypto community, can make a massive impact on the success of it.
In order to participate, you just need to join the Steem Slack team, if you haven't already, and join the channel titled #ssn. That's it! We're trying to maintain a proper list of other teams included in SSN. For now it can be viewed at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1357996.0 (yes, sorry, I know bitcointalk isn't ideal...).
I'm very much looking forward to meeting so many new people and teams as we progress with both Steem as well as SSN.
