That "rule" comes from one of my favorite blogs; redteams.net, they're not on Steemit, but I visit and read regularly...
They have a whole list of rules some of which are more funny than serious. Their business involves some cool "spy/hacker type" stuff, the kind of stuff that just about couldn't be further from my real life.
Nevertheless, I have found that I can take that kind of info and apply it to my personal and family safety...
Never take the elevator can have multiple real world uses. You can do it for your health, you can do it to avoid being in an enclosed space with lots of other people during flu season, or.... you can do it to get photos of whats in your pockets...
