Originally when this story first broke it looked like Tommy had been stitched up since he was reporting on a trial that had in all essence finished, they were supposedly turning up for sentencing which would mean there is no possibility of corrupting a trial. However the latest news now is that the trial had been split into 3 separate trials with some witnesses crossing over between the trials and that Tommy was active at the end of trial 1 with trial 2 still in action and trial 3 yet to start. Is that true? Since it wasn't made at all clear before and seems to have just come out at this latest verdict. If it is true then it makes it a bit more of a grey area in respect of contempt of court and the effect he would have had on the rest of the trial. Mind you he said nothing in my opinion that would have affected the other trial he only spoke to those coming in for sentencing and never referenced anything related to the trial, seems they have got him on a technicality, with them treating the whole trial as still active.
