And finally the story ended do well. The bastard showed bravery and certainty in his acts including when making his request known, from the beginning to the end of the story and that's one good thing I like about him.

The king is Happy to have such a wise and brave young man as his son. I know he will rule the kingdom very well.
One important thing I've noticed in most of your stories is that the protagonist first suffers and go through a brief period of hardship and then in the end his resilience helps him to thrive and become great finally. If we can imbibe such life lessons that begining is tough most of the time, but that doesn't mean the end will be so, it'll help to view Life from the perspective of a dedicated and winning mindset like the bastard.

I wish I was close I guess I would help Katy with some of the food 😅.
Hopefully they'll fix another get together and this time it won't be cancelled.
