Just like the last episode, La Fleur has problem with suppressing natural human needs like food and water. He ate the two apples as red as poppies, the end result, a severe thirst and another round of trials awaiting him. The Valet has proven to be a worthy servent and he deserves his rewards.

This particular tale reminds me of the previous tale where the protagonist cut of his skin to use as a hook when being tried on the boat by the king of fishes, instead of killing the little shepherd boy. La Fleur did the same thing, cutting a part of his flesh to feed the eagle's desire for raw meat. Still wondering what will happen when he sees the princess this time around, if he's going to fail the test again. Another lesson, it's not only sufficient to accept our wrongs doings, but we should take corrections and make amendments to our attitudes as soon as possible.
Safe trip on journey Sir 🙏
