Your stories get more interesting with all the additional details you have here. I really believe you're good at what you're doing because how on earth could someone understand these tales except that you not only translate them but also give more clarity like the one you did at the last part of the story.
It's a wonderful ending the story have. I had alot of things running around my mind as I read the story but you clarified most of it like how the age of the young man corresponded with the prophecy of his mother. I was also wondering why the little pagan had to be punished with castration for something he didn't do and why the queen had to retire to a convent to pray till her death buy you have clarified all those. Thank you for that.
