I have been trying to boost my income on steemit like we all are.
I have noticed that you need a good Reputation Level to get anyone interested in commenting or upvoting on posts.
The only way to get a good reputation is to get votes, also check the medals website

Click on any of the medals at the bottom of the page, and it tells you what you need to do to progress.
