Hi all, hope you're having a wonderful day.
I've been on Hive since early March, and one of the first things I discovered was the RisingStar game. I thought this looks fun, without knowing a jot about NFT games or Play2Earn, so i just logged in and blindly clicking a few buttons setting off on a mission. As a newbie, of course, there was only 1 mission avalable - but ya gotta start somewhere, and I figured i'd learn the stuff i needed to know as i go, without really having a plan.
Anyway the first month, I was very much a haphazard player, often forgetting to play for days at a time, certainly not a recipe for success, but as time went on I began playing more frequently, but still not daily, and for longer, thus getting more missions done - well more of the same one really - illegal busking.
The downside to my playing frequency was every time I came back I was pretty much starting from scratch again, any drunk fans I'd accumulated had woken up and gone to look for more booze. I realized then I needed to get into a proper routine, but knowing that it still didn't quite happen, life as they say continued to get in the way.
I have been building my playing frequency, and am now at the stage where I'm playing daily, sometimes even twice a day, depending on my energy levels (game energy - not physical energy, of course lol) and now about four months in, have reached a number milestones:
| Current | Goal | Progress | %age |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home Town Zone | Local Gig Circuit | 3/7 Missions | 42.8% |
| Level 9 | Level 10 | 357/450 points | 70.6% |
| Starbits | 5000 | 3169 | 63.3% |
| Total Missions | 150 | 143 | 86.6% |
| Illegal Busking | 125 | 108 | 86.4% |
| Open Mic | 30 | 23 | 76.6% |
| Midweek Support | 25 | 12 | 48.0% |
Have almost made it to the Busking With A License mission a couple of times, but was a couple of fans short each time and with no energy left to try and get some more, and by the time I had energy, the drunks had woken up again and left me.
So that's where I am so far, and of course a long way to go, so if anyone has any tips, particularly about the best cards to get as a newbie, and the best order to get them in, I do have a few in mind, but extra tips are always appreciated.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
