As much as i'd like to see him stick 2 fingers up to the United organisation and say you wouldn't let me go so i'll ride out my contract and leave for free, he wont.

Ronaldo has throughout his career displayed a particular work ethic that will prevent him from doing so.

He wants to play, and play well, he wants to score goals, he has the desire to continue to perform at his best, and lets face it even when he's not at his best, he's still way better than most of the prima ballerinas in the EPL (and I'm not a United fan by any stretch of the imagination BTW!).

He was brought back to be the saviour of a once great club, but the rest of team weren't up to the task, and still aren't IMHO, despite their recent resurgance.

When (if) he does finally move on, I hope he gets the respect and backing from whichever team is lucky enough to grab him, as he certainly isn't getting it from United.
