American Browns tend to be hoppier than British. Both use hops and from their own countries predominately, so with American you get a more citrusy/piney flavour from the hops, and a drier beer from the yeast. British styles use more floral/earthy hops, and the yeast gives a fruity element to the beer.

The Turbodog does sound great, even though I go more for the pales, goldens, IPA styles - the hoppier the better, but i love trying new beers when i get the chance. and thank heavens there is more to American beer than the fizzy,gassy Bud or Coors and the like.

Food looks great too.
