Yesterday's Recap - 8th December, 2022
Not sure what Dan's Chosen was chosen for, certainly not winning, based on yesterday's 3rd place finish over 11 lengths behind.
Seemed to start and settle well into a decent rhythm, chasing the leaders early on. Made headway over 4 fences out moving up into 3rd place. Urged on after the third from home, but had no more to give at that stage, running on one paced over the last two and onto the finish.

Today's Bet - 9th December, 2022
A winner in July , but no luck since, although performed well to finish 5th in a Class 2, 3M Handicap here last month, and the thought is that the trip took too much out of him on that day. Down a grade, and significantly down in trip today, although the handicapper has hit him with big jump in rating (11 points) for this one.
N.B. There is a slight chance that this meeting will also become a casualty of the weather, with a course inspection about to happen almost as i finish this post.
