Yesterday's Recap - 10th December, 2022
A winner for us yesterday, amongst the glut and gloom of cancelled meetings up and down the country due to the freezing conditions, with a similar picture for today's racing. Manaafith held on well to finish .75 lengths ahead. Early on was very keen, finally settling into the middle of the pack. Switched right to get a clear run 2f out, moving into 2nd and then hit the lead inside the last furlong and finished well in control.

As expected the The Brigadier returned to the top spot, with the abandonement of Cheltenham affecting Andrew Bladen's runner, and combined with him posting a winner. However, today it's The Brigadier to suffer with an abandoned meeting - despite Newcastle being an "all-weather" track.
