Some success yesterday with 2 winners from 5 picks, but still registered a slight loss on the day of £0.08p. We did have two others go close finishing in 3rd, but just didn't reach the top spot to tip us into profit, unfortunately.
Our two winners yesterday netted us returns of £0.42p.
Ziryab, ridden by recent Derby winner, Ryan Moore, giving him his third win this month from 10 rides, made most of the running in this one mile race. Ridden approaching the final furlong under a slight challenge from the second, but moved easily clear to cross the line by 2 lengths , for his first career victory in just his 3rd outing.
Shazam, with the ever improving Billy Loughnane on board, led early on before settling back to track the leader and ultimate second place finisher from inside the mile marker. Drifted slightly to be third for a short time, before making headway to challenge for the lead inside 2f to go. A bit of a battle ensued inside the last furlong, with this bay filly just holding the edge to the line winning by 3/4 lengths at the line.
Tipsters Standings
6 days into June, and the the leading pack continues to be up and down with their picks. We are down once again to a leading pair with a 4-0-2 record, so just two bets going forward into today's action.

Four wins from 23 starts over hurdles and on the flat , including last time out at Windsor in a 10 runner handcap on 22nd May with today's jockey taking the reins on that occassion. Up in trip by a furlong from that success. Handicapper has raised his rating by 3lbs on the back of that success, which shouldn't be too troublesome a burden for him.

Finished a creditable 3rd in her only start to-datefinish 1.75 lengths behind the winner, ONIGIRI in a field of 12 runners at Redcar over this distance, and on similar ground on 30th May.
That about wraps it up for another day. But...
The current leader of the overall competition, not just my monthly analysis of the results, with 13 winners this season Jason Heavey is backing a runner by the name of Beccara Rose in the 19:50 at Kempton. Currently at odds of 14-1 (I actually got on at 16-1) this represents a decent each-way punt. So today this will be my Cheeky Extra Punt. As it's not an "official" Follow The Tipster bet, I've placed this one at a different bookies to keep the winnings (if any - lol) seperate.
