A third day in a row with a winner coming home for us, and a small profit for the day as a result.
Mapmaker jumped off well in this 12 runner, 6f sprint, quickly into her stride and prominent throughout, settling into second place. As the leader began to weaken inside the 2f marker, she pressed on to take up the running. A storming charge from the rear by the eventual second was the only real challenge inside the final furlong, but she found a little extra effort under jockey Kevin Stott's guidance, finishing clear by 2 lengths.
Tipsters Standings
Fortunatus slips into the sole lead for June as a result of his pick Mapmaker romping home in front. That makes it a hat-trick of winners in the last three days for him, his longest winning streak of the season so far. Certainly a great improvement compared to last month where he landed a meagre 8 winners.

A winner 3 times from 6 runs at this distance, most recently in September 2022. His last outing, 22 days ago at York, was a 12th place finish, 4.5 lengths behind the winner, showed some positive signs of potential following a long break.

My Cheeky Extra Punt came home a creditable 4th place, and landed us a few pennies into the bargain as the bookies I used was paying an extra place for that race, so congrats if you also got on it.
