Hello again one and all,
Another fine weather day currently here in the UK, which is not the norm for a bank holiday, but we'll definitley take it.
A packed raceday ahead with 7 meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland. The action kicks off at 1.20 pm at the renowned Irish course, The Curragh, and with so many races today, picking a winner or two is very challenging to say to the least. That's why I let the tipsters do the hard work and provide the tips to choose from.
There have been changes to the participant list of the Racing Post competition overnight, so arriving at the ones to follow wasn't as easy as usual, but i think i'm on top of things.

And so onto yesterdays review. A 50% day from our two runners improves our position slightly, but we are still slightly down overall.
Travelled in the middle of the field until 3f to go when started to make headway. Pushed hard at the 2f pole, but remained one paced, and was beaten with well over 1f to the line, finishing 4th of the 12 runners.
Held back towards the rear early on, and dead last for a time seemingly out of the running coming around the turn into the home straight. Ridden from around 2f out, initially without making any progress. Found a great turn of speed inside the final furlong swooping past the field to win by 1.5 lengths at the line
Tipsters Standings
Expert Eye grabbed another winner with Golden Maverick, as recapped above, to end the month 2 clear of the rest.
Today's Bets
Two bets placed again for todays action. Our first pick was selected tipster Robin Goodfellow, whilst the second selection was chosen by two tipsters Ben Morgan, and Garry Owen. All three started the flat season variant of the tipster competition with 4-1 winners yessterday. Expert Eye, whilst did bag a winner, was only at 11-4. Thus the reason for going with these picks today.
This 9yo Bay Gelding returned from a 7 month break to finish a good 2nd at Leicester 17 days ago. A shorter trip this time out should see him in the mix.
A winner over this distance at Ludlow in March, sees him 6lb worse off in the handicap, yet still carrying the top weight, and only 1lb more weight than that victory. Paired with the same jockey Alex Edwards once more.
There we have it for another day. Bets are placed, time to relax until the results are in.
