Another mammoth day of racing action, with 7 meetings taking place, and a total of 50 races across those cards.

No winners from our two selections yesterday, leaving us still in the red 11 days into the month. Three runners for today's bets, culled from 5 as two tipsters chose the same horse, and another chose one in the same race as that selection, so i've gone with the one with two tipsters backing it.

Still no clear front-runner in the May table so far with 11 results in the bag, though two new names in the list are featuring at the top of the table Tipman Tips and Newmarket holding their own with a 5 - 6 record, with Tipman Tips having the largest profit to date.

Three picks for today, hoping for an improvement on yesterday.
Winner of five races from 6f to 7f on ground varying from good to firm to heavy and on the all-weather. Finished 4 1/2l behind Magical Spirit when fourth of 8 at 7-2 on his latest outing at Doncaster over 6f (soft) last month. Last win in October at Haydock when he beat Marshal Dan into 8th place and competes against him today, carrying 2lbs less than that run. Has succeeded in 4 of his 16 runs over this distance.
Winner of five races from 6f to 1m on good to soft ground and on the all-weather. Finished 1/2l behind Vafortino when fourth of 12 at 9-2 on his latest outing at Goodwood over 1m (good to soft) in September last year. Having his first run for a new stable today. Has previously come up against both Boardman and Percy's Lad (twice) and headed both. Boasts a 50% strike rate over this Course & Distance (2 runs 1 win, and placed in the other).
Chosen by two of our tipsters, so only 1 bet required to be placed. Successful twice from 6 runs at 1m 2f on good to soft and soft ground. Finished 4 1/2l behind Foxes Tales when fifth of 7 at 18-1 on his latest outing at Kempton over 1m 2f last month. Faced off against Groundbreaker, beating him into 4th, while finishing 3rd, a year ago, and carries 5lb more than him today. Also up against last years winner Baryshnikov running off the same mark as that day, and with an up and coming jockey Billy Loughnane int the saddle.
