Thanks for the long response. It didn't catch us by surprise at all, but it's still painful for her to wake up to 13 or so messages from the moms cussing at the situation. When Trump pushed through his ban on tik-tok, they started to play games with us and saw the writing on the wall. After Biden got into office, they seemed to ease back and let more classes flow through.
It was only part of her income, as she had been in sales stateside until she took a foreign teaching position with South Korea. The biggest point I wanted to make was that there really needs to be a reckoning with China before they are in a position to not just hurt us on their economic whims, but to cripple us (America and other countries)
