The video of the gameplay really captures the essence of the game. They're constantly communicating on what to do. Most games you play in co-op force you to be quiet, sometimes I won't talk for.

I'll start off by saying that I don't care about the Tomb Raider series. I was never able to get the playstation 1, due to budget cutbacks from my childhood presents fund. We are able to get one game system, so I'd always choose nintendo.

Fast forward to Xbox 360 / me having an income and one of the game for gold months gave away Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. I noticed it was a multiplayer game, which was different from the previous ones.

My wife and I decided to play it together, since we didn't have children yet and we were still in our honeymoon phase.

I loved the game. It's set in the ruins of ancient central america around Mayan culture. You have to figure out and complete puzzles throughout the game as a team. One person holds down the switch, unlocks the gate to let the other person in, kind of stuff. It really makes the perfect social game.

One person controls Lara Croft and the other person controls some weird Mayan mummy that you've never seen in any movie or Tomb Raider game. They both have their unique skill set, such as blocking with a shielf or jumping on the other's shield to climb up a ledge.

It also has boss battles and bonus levels, plus plenty of things to collect along the way.

The view is a nearly top down view that's only one screen, so no confusing split screen. Some people love split screen, but after playing 20 different lego games, I've come to really hate it.

It has great suspensful music to keep you engaged and also great cutscenes. The gameplay mechanics are nearly perfect.

There is also a direct sequel that has a 4 player mode. It had lower reviews, but I still want to try it out as soon as I can find 3 other people.

It's best as a two player game, but you can also play in one player mode.

It's available on steam and nearly every platform. If two people want to play, you should team up and just play it together.

Take care and thanks for reading.
