Legendary musician Neil Young spent his 71st birthday performing for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and other DAPL protesters.
“Got my birthday wish today, my girl took me to #StandWithStandingRock,” wrote Young in a Facebook post.
Instead of rocking out on a stage, Young decided to play amongst the crowd for a more intimate performance.
Young and girlfriend Daryl Hannah posted some video footage of the performance to help draw attention to the protest. You can view that video here on Facebook.
