Absolutely! I think we have evolved or maybe morphed in to a community of solid micro communities.

This has it's pros and cons, but it does feel, after time away, like returning to a familiar place of friends. Maybe that is enough to counter the issues you mention regarding the online world that we have all gotten used to.
