Oh no!
Sending so, so much love to our own Silver Blondie Lizzie. Me and mine wish you and yours all the very best moving forward.
There is a whole void of wisdom, warmth and 'zingy humour', just waiting to be filled again when you are ready and able. No rush, Hive is always here and holds a whole lot of bloody love for you.
You know all the best things for recovery, (old pantry methods) we have discussed this before so sensible steps are a given, I suspect you would be inclined to do too much too fast though, right?
Take it easy lovely lady, recover well, the lows are not the sum total of who we are and who we become. I am reminded of a very specific part of a longer conversation we had, not so long ago, (neither of seemed to know when to stop striking keys, I should bloody think so too! 😊) in fact I am off to find it now...
If eight decades is what it takes to glean such wisdom, optimism, warmth and lightness of spirit and should I be granted that long, I will accept it gladly. Remember what an octogenarian was when we were younger, Wow!
Yup, those 'stacked losses', although they feel like they may crush us at anytime when we are in the thick of those most challenging periods we will ever endure, in some way, make us! The price of those life-shaping lessons is high and almost unbearable, what else is new? Some of the most important lessons come with a price tag we would never willingly accept, sometimes life is bloody hard.
Just a couple of years ago, I would not have been able to offer a genuine, actual prayer for you, today finds me in a very different position to do just that. Funny how we become several different people all rolled in to one as the years pass isn't it? Lest to say I understand your faith now, far more than I could have ever imagined through the preceding 50 years! 🕊🤍
So glad you dealt with the move last year and now live far closer to your Brother and his wife, I am certain that has been a bonus throughout the difficult times.
Hopefully you will be up to cooking Ouma's frog spawn again really soon
Recover well @Lizelle If sheer will, warmth and love could work it's way, you would be dancing by dinnertime.
Lots of love to you and yours, from me and mine 💝💐🌻🙏
