Honestly, the 'financial aspect' fled for me quite some time ago.

I just continue to drift in and of the Hive-community when life and health allow. I realised that if I saw this place as being where I try and gain, I would have to change what I do here and after so many years, that is not very palatable.

I get to write from the heart, about real 'life stuff', encouragement, community-building and not worry so much about triple exclamation marks!!! (WHhich I adore 😁)

SEO doesn't enter my head, viewership, clicks and all that jazz.

I have enough folks I like to check-in with too, that takes much of my time when I inhabit 'these, here parts'

This has one huge benefit to me. I find writing about the things I do, so incredibly cathartic, I think if people truly understand how this feels when you exorcise stuff from your head and your heart, it can be so beneficial, they would write more authentic-lifestuff too.

(Did I mention huge run-on sentences that Hemminway editor would flag for a myriad of reasons???)

I can just write, strike the keys with abandon and free myself of some heavy-stuff that disipates as I do. (Without thinking of the Benjamins, wait... We don't say that in England 😏)

When I am here I am me, I am Ste, nothing more...

I bloody love it, Hive-price up... Down... Sideways... WHATEVER!

I say, don't let the actions of others get inside, be you, do what ya do with freedom. Keep sharing with integrity, knowing your actions to be right and true.

That is what is cool about this place.

(I refute entirely, the idea a 54 year old wordy Englishman cannot use the word cool, or this many emojis😎🌻🀍 )

Being a member of the 'better parts' of this community is worth all that comes from the other parts πŸš€
