Yes 300 million dollars sounds a lot for any kind of contract, let alone being a glorified storyteller lol.

I have gotta agree with you 100% that the idea of a NF series being able to tackle truly deep issues seems a contradiction in terms. It often feels as though a profound message or moral is being approached and then it is skimmed over and dealt with in a 5 minute segment... Dissapointing.

It is endearing and should be commended that a far more diverse range of stories are being made for those who feel they are simply not being acknowledged within such media offerings and I am certain that will only be improved upon as people show their love for such creative projects.
