MY THEORY is that it's a 'bacteria' (or similar - MAYBE a Virus?) that lives dormant under the skin, between the dermis and epidermis, and THAT'S why (again, MY THEORY) BOTH work, but lugols obviously more potent and or able to penetrate better to kill it...
