This is so on my "most wanted list" for camping with friends, beach parties or just sitting out watching the sun go down.
The BioLite Firepit is an innovative new firepit that allows you to enjoy the warmth and ambience of a real fire but without the smoke plus effort & attention required to build a normal campfire.
It is controlled via your smartphone using Bluetooth technology to increase or decrease the heat.
It can also double-up as a BBQ with an inbuilt rack.
The Bluetooth power pack that attaches to the firepit can also be used to charge your smartphone or power outdoor lighting using its USB connection - battery life is up to 24 hours for the fire.
The mesh body around the sides allows for a 360 degree view of the warming flames and provides the effect of a "floating fire" at night.
It can be easily transported in a carry-bag.
Price is quite toppy at £220 but the fact that it can double up as a BBQ makes up for this in my opinion.
