Tension is a feeling of nervousness before an important or difficult event according to Cambridge dictionary.
This is what happens to almost everyone except you are a super human.
This usually occur at the first step of doing something new and may happen due to people's experiences we have seen, heard or maybe because no one has toiled that lane before you in other words you first entrant. It's normal because of our nature.
For consistently 3yrs, i get this tensed feeling each time i am almost close to the main gate of my University because of what lies ahead of me for the session. Expectations, activities, lectures and Reading.
I thought it was just unique to only me but i discovered that it is conversant to everyone. So we start and it invariably get worse when we hear exam is next week.
But this tension is bad and it's one of the reason while we fail at our business presentations, project defense, exams etc because we spend so much time thinking of how we may not be able to achieve our target rather than thinking of how we will advance after the success of the project giving you tension. This has been my attitude recently and it paid off last semester. I go into activities with the mindset of Victory.
You only owns the key to unlock your success, so twist your mind to success and watch how things will play out.
