Straws Part II - Lightpainting on Hive

Hello Hive,

this is another shot I made with a bunch of straws and camera rotation.

A little description of what I was doing there:

Tripod 1:
Macro-Lens for the straws. For about 6 seconds I lit the straws with a torch. Lens cap on and swap to a wide-angle lens.

Tripod 2:
Camera Rotation (6x 60 degrees) with a wide-angle lens and my "trainings-baseball". To spread the light a little more diffusely, I blew a mouthful of smoke into the scene with each rotation.

It all sounds quite simple, in practice it is still quite difficult for me. Changing the lens during the exposure, in total darkness, is still quite difficult for me. Because of this I have the highest respect for light painters like @fadetoblack or @fastchrisuk for example, who have mastered this technique to perfection. But I think, the more often you use this technique, the more experienced you become.

The image was taken in several steps, during a longexposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing. No Photoshop or other manipulation software involved!
