Skimming glances
Who cares what I should be.

Haunted visions
Of what the world could be.
And now here standing naked
Expecting nothing but glee.

Staring at the abyss
Wandering at the thoughts
You and I could never be safe
In the company of lost youth.

The world is not what we thought it is.
Happy faces, beaming lights, cheerful lallubies.
It's more than just a sanctuary or a kingdom of delight.

The World , a jungle, a wilderness
Thriving are savages.
Hiding in the facade of a friendly samaritan,
Feasting at the table,
Exchanging gifts.

"Laughter; a deception, a lie
Hiding truth in white teeth,
Smiling at you as if the world
Was a playground and butterflies
Were never cocoons eaten by bats."
