In a misty twilight
I found an instant plight.
In the company of the booze
I sit still waiting for a toast.

Oh the bitter sweet memory
And the dawn of you and me
Visiting me at this hour
With just a sip of Margarita's power.

I thought the taste of tequila
Could quickly kill the nostalgia
But as the time swiftly pass
And margarita glasses pile up
The more I could not bare-

The longing for your hair,
Sadness and despair
Surpassing in the air.

Oh how I miss your touch
And your ludicrous laugh,
Your intoxicating scent and
Whimsical fragments.

But, to wake up I must
Because there's no point
At feeling all broken up.
For, there really wasn't an us.

Margarita got me into wild imaginings,
From a confidant to a lover's stint
But should I really sober up?
When in Margarita's clutch
I get to be your perfectly imperfect match.
