Hi guys. Great to be here. I hope y'all have been keeping safe. We'd scale through this CoronaVirus pandemic surely, with time.

I'm sharing an artwork I made recently on the Bristol canson paper I made a review of in my previous post. This will be the third drawing I'll be making with the paper and I must say, I'm impressed.

I already had my grid out and sketched the figure very lightly into the grids. The sketch was so faint that you wouldn't know it was there unless you looked really close.

I then moved to shade from the upper part of the head which was the hair. It needed a lot of detail and I was not going to be selfish with it... Yeah, so I spent a day on this part.. Adding details i on details to it. And it came out fine.

I then move to the lower part of his face. Here, the jaw line to the ear seemed very tasking but I was able to beat it.. I have not fully mastered the Bristol paper enough to know that you don't try to shade a really large part at once.

I moved to the neck and the the cloth which was very less work. Not much of a big deal since the cloth was white and only need very little shades.

What do you think about this artwork guys?
