Recently Bill posted a series of tweets, here they are...
Here was my response...
People are simply fed up with Facebook..!!
These are not my feelings, these are the feelings of the +500 students I have spoken to recently while handing out flyers for STEEMIT.
Ask anyone in their earlier 20's how they really feel about Facebook and you may find their response shocking.
These last few weeks have been a wake-up call for me and one that if I was involved in Facebook would be extremely worried by.
People are simply fed up with being manipulated, dictated to, conditioned and bullied, and it this that should be setting off alarm bells ringing in existing Corporate Social Media Companies.
Some will say that most people accept this manipulated and conditioned environment, but it is this very same manipulated and conditioned environment that is actually telling them to accept it..!!
Step out of this environment and the reality is very different.
Facebook has dominated Social Media in the last 13 years simply because there was no real alternative, but it is the alternatives that are now showing signs of green-shoots as they come alive..!!
I will be happy to go back to Bill Mitchell and share with him this Blog later.
Feel free to leave any comments below for Bill to see.
Thanks for reading.
