Nothing feels more amusing than finding out about something you think is interesting. Yet seems vague or too complex to understand. It was during the first quarter of the year 2021. Lol..., Is this some kind of bubble I asked myself. But trust me it wasn't. Let's just say curiosity found its way back in me.
I had the privilege to know about cryptocurrency as far back as 2019. That was during my undergraduate days at the University. I did not know what it is. But then I knew I must have found out about something worth digging into. Well, the story didn't end there. I took the bold step and get myself enrolled in the Introduction to Digital Currencies Course at The University of Nicosia. Thank goodness, I owe a friend of mine that rare opportunity. I think I was one of the early benefactors of these free MOOCs from the above-said university.
A year pass by, and it all looks as if maybe all was an illusion. Nonetheless, I remained convinced, that my nearly discovered adventured isn't some kind of bubbles. There's more to this. I remembered saying this to myself. But I had no clue, on what to do next. I never got discouraged instead I begin to search the internet for knowledge.
With a strong desire to unravel my quest. I began to make use of all means that were available at my disposal. I became more open-minded. Interacting and asking questions from different folks become the order of activities for the day. I didn't get it all figured out at once. Jumping from one blog post to another, writing and jotting my findings were some of the activities I threw myself to.
With time things began to make sense. Complex terms, procedures, tasks, and activities seem to be effortless. The old saying is true." Practice makes more perfect".
You know the reason why this story is important because it serves as the basis of passion and helped to shape my perspective about what cryptocurrency is and some of the ideas behind Blockchain Technology.
The advent of Blockchain creates a world with endless possibilities. An innovation that started about a decade ago where every one of us can learn and still make a fortune. Early adopters of this innovation have been greatly rewarded.
