Inktober 2026 – Day 21: Hero
Inspired by a photograph from 24 years ago of Jamal Al-Durrah, who fought to shield his 12-year-old son, Muhammad, from a storm of Israeli bullets that rained down on them for 40 agonising minutes in Gaza.
Ballpoint pen on sketchbook, A5, 2026, Stephen Ezike.
