The Chameleon

Chameleons are a highly specialised species of lizard which can be found all across the world. They are most famous for changing colour depending on their moods. Certain species can change into more colours than others.

The English word chameleon (/kəˈmiːliən/) is a simplified spelling of Latin chamaeleōn, a borrowing of the Greek χαμαιλέων (khamailéōn), a compound of χαμαί (khamaí) "on the ground" and λέων (léōn) "lion"

This is my chameleon. He was given to me by a friend. I do not know where he found it. I named him Rango, after the famous animated chameleon with the same name. It was a surprise when I got him. I haven't studied up on chameleons yet. But I hope to be a professional chameleon parent soon. Until then I will take photos of him. I hope he doesn't mind.
