STEMng Digest: Week 40

Greetings to the Hive community and welcome to a new edition of the STEMng digest. a weekly publication where we celebrate the Nigerian authors in the stem field that are making waves on the hive blockchain.

For emphasis, STEMng is a sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that is dedicated to supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain. Stemsocial community has been putting in curation effort for as hold as the chain itself.

Basically, our curators comb through the blockchain for stem-related content published by Nigerians that fulfill the curation criteria of the stemsocial community. Such posts are then submitted in the curation channel of the stemsocial community on discord for cross-checking and upvotes.

For this week's digest, the following articles are the picks:

1. @ebingo : Abdominal pain redo

2.@infinikxs: Supernatural influence, a myth or reality?

3.@wolfofnostreet: Understanding Body Integrity Identity Disorder

4.@clinton19: [What Could Be The Fundamental Building Block Of The Universe ? - The Universe Might Gradually Be Revealing Itself(

5.@noble-noah: A Virtual Private Network (VPN) : A means to establish a protected network connection when using public networks

5.@thewritingdr: TOO MUCH SUGAR IS NOT SWEET (PART 1): Prelude to a case review of complications of Diabetes Mellitus

5.@gentleshaid: Another of Mendel's laws may fail the test of time

Top pick for the week

Our top pick for this week is the post by @wolfofnostreet: Understanding Body Integrity Identity Disorder

No sane person would ever have thought that some humans actually exist that wish they are disabled. So much so that they explore audacious means to make themselves disabled. Well, it is a form of disorder and the writer educated us on it. Proves to be an enjoyable read, no doubt.
