Welcome to the 22nd episode of the stemng digest series where we bring to you some of the best posts under the #stemng tag in the past week.
For those that do not know yet, stemng is a sub-community of steemSTEM, a community-driven project which seeks to promote well-written and informative Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics posts by Nigerians on Steemit. The project involves submitting quality STEM-related posts to the steemSTEM management for upvoting and resteeming where applicable.

As we usually do, we have sifted through the stemng tag and even though there were several good posts to choose from, below are the posts that stood out for week #14.
The virus is something that no one wants near them either as a disease or in the form of a malicious program designed to wreck a PC. The blog by 
@michaelwrites sheds light on what a computer virus is, how it works, and how to detect and prevent the spread of it.
The second post of the week is from 
@adeosunadeyinka. The posts demystify the formation of snow and explain the reason most of Africa do not experience it.
The article written by 
@abumaryam explores the civil engineering world of cement. The advantages of the new cement-bio cement- which poses less hazard to the environment and humankind. For more details be kind enough to visit the link above.
@florae takes on the medical condition-Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia- which makes a makeup artist job in a horror movie easy in the sense that sufferers already has an alien look of the terrifying character usually portrayed in the film.
The human being is on top of the food chain; that position did not come free. 
@starrichie's article describes some of the cost of having a larger brain compared to our smaller brain species that inhabit our solar system. An interesting read which we think you should read and not just take our words for it.
The cost of an aeroplane may a little on the high side, but not to worry 
@teekingtv may be the one who may finally show you the way to getting one by building it. But first you will have to read about how the aeroplane works before making one: that is fair enough.
The last post of the week is from 
@writeit, and it was a sunny one. The Albedo phenomenon describes the way the sun reflects off a surface. It delves further to show the relationship between the surface reflection to a performance of solar panels and global warming.
