Look now.
What do you see.
What do you really see?
The dead sea stretches on for days,
A stench reeking of defication, impurity and broken souls.
The ammassed grievances stretching tightly over bones,
Disillusioned hands desperately fondle for hope.
My weary mind stilled by your eyes alone,
As your soul searches me with great fevour.
I thought I saw paradise in the distance,
Though I chide, It was only a trepidation.
I am alone on this barron and desolate mire,
And so it is that you're in my minds eye.
With obsconded vision I'll move on in the direction of your scent,
With seered limbs I long for your touch.
Skeletons they outline my every thought,
As elongated limbs wane in the moonlight.
I haven't seen your silhouette for what seems like an age,
Though I've seen your soul, as naked and juvenile as a troubled youth does cower.
As the ink black clouds roll on to beckon me forward,
I scream your name as the bellows of my lungs expand.
Together we are carried swiftly by the stars light,
And with this, my love, I will sleep easy tonight.
The wind lulled in time with us, longingly and swift.
Look now,
Our oasis is reached.
Thank you so much for taking the time to view my work today. Embrace all your dreams!
