"Please help me" his voice all quaky and uneven.
He stretched out his grace as his eyes blazed,
He bowed he head as his legs no longer held him.
With hair all streaked in blood and sweat,
His fingers fumbled the ledge that suspended him, he retreated.
Cautiously he faced himself and looked into his eyes.
Deep oceans of the blackest blue stretched for miles, but held no resolve. His soul was old.
Lines on his face emulated by the lines on the page, his profession coaxing his demons out.
As the world mills about below him he stays silent,
Slowly calculating the methods to execute his mind of the fevered cacophony of anxiety and deceit.
Memories torment him,
Redemption alludes him,
And still she's wary of his soul like it's tainted.
So he burns his sorrow in every musical note,
Quietly he closes the door behind him and walks.
The hammering in his head now reduced to a soft tap,
He squints as his eyes are cast to the sky.
His aged flesh rejuvenated anew, like a new child,
He starts to walk aimlessly...he misses her.
"Please help me" his voice all quaky and uneven.
With vacant eyes and a placid demeanor he arrives home.
Without so much as a handful of sentiments and the clothes on his back, he switches off the lights.
The blackest blue stretched for miles, so he swam.
The tide carried.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my work today. Embrace all your dreams!
