Making a bun or scrunchie with ribbed fabric
Hello Hive friends! 😘 Today I dedicated myself to making a bun, also known as a scrunchie, using a beautiful ribbed fabric. It is perfect for girls who enjoy making buns. Now I am going to explain how I made this bun.
the materials you use:
ribbed fabric in this case use the beige color, scissors, thread, elastic band, hand needle and a meter.
The measurements were 4x25, use a pin to hold the fabric and prevent it from moving when you start sewing.
Here I fold it to start sewing it.
Here, mark a space without sewing with the pin so that when it comes to turning the fabric and also when you have to place the elastic band.
This is how it looks, I think you can see that I left the opening uncooked, well that space is very important because there I am going to make the seam that makes the bun or scrunchie look round.
Here I am returning the longest end through the opening so that it is on the opposite side of the fabric and thus when I sew it the seam is not noticeable.
I don't know if it was possible to understand why this part was even confused because I had sewn it backwards and what is achieved is that the seam is joined through the opening so that it remains a circular shape as it is.
Here I already placed the garter with the help of a hook and then I tied a knot so that it does not come loose. If you prefer, you can sew it to secure it. I sewed the opening by hand with some small stitches so that it is not noticeable.
And that's how it turned out, I hope you like it and that I have had the opportunity to share some of my creations.
