Ever since I was young, I’ve always been a football fan, and I always loved the game, as I said in my introduction post. I grew up knowing my dad had always been a Barcelona fan up until now, and it rubbed off on me, which is why I am a Barcelona fan right now. I always grew up with it the aspiration and hope of playing in front of the camp nou one day, and hopefully it’s never too late for that dream.
Football is arguably the biggest, and best sport in the world. It is very entertaining, It can be watched at home, or in viewing centers, which is more lively and you get to meet people, because you communicate with people easily, especially if you find out you support the same football club. Football is played, and watched all over the world, in hundreds of countries, and thousands of leagues such, as Premier league, La Liga, Serie A, etc.
There’s no hiding that it is very easy for someone to love the game of football, because anything can be used as a ball, including objects like; bottles, stones, wrapped up and cello taped paper, and more. You find people playing a lot on the streets and this make it very easy for someone who doesn’t know much about the game, to quickly adapt, and fall in love with the game.
In my early years of watching football, we experienced a lot of success, but in recent times, it hasn’t been so good, for various reasons, both financially, and supporting wise. We lost the best player in the world in Lionel Messi, who i always tried to play like, and things haven’t been better since.
They hasn’t been much to look forward to as a Barcelona fan, but with the new appointment of a club legend, in Xavi as a manager, we all hope for the better, and hopefully we start to experience games again in which we are more confident of a win, than a loss, before the game has even started.

What makes football even more special is the element of surprise, you can’t predict a game before it starts and there have been some times in which games didn’t go according to plan. Such include, Roma beating Barcelona in 2018, Ajax beating Real Madrid and Juventus in 2019, Liverpool’s comeback against Barcelona in 2019, and plenty more!
These are games which almost defied common sense, and it makes the game more tensed, and adds a little bit of fear and anticipation.
